Division 91 forces continue operations to locate weapons in the security zone in southern Lebanon. In recent days, fighters from the 401st Brigade located an underground tunnel and a weapons cache containing rockets and mortars in the A-Tiri area of southern Lebanon. In another operation in the Maroun al-Ras area, fighters from the reserve brigade ‘Yiftach’ (679) located explosive devices, weapons, and additional combat equipment. The located weapons were intended for use by Hezbollah terrorists against IDF forces. The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians.
