Increases in Producer Price Indexes

Israel's Producer Price Index for April 2026 reveals a 3.9% increase in industrial output prices, with fuel prices up 41.4% month-over-month.

Jerusalem, 17 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the data on the “Producer Price Index” for April-2026, which showed increases, an indicator of inflation.

The Producer Price Index (PPI) is an economic indicator that measures the average changes in selling prices received by domestic producers for their output over time

The industrial output price index for domestic destinations increased by 3.9% in April 2026 compared to March 2026.

The index excluding fuels increased by 0.2% in April 2026 compared to March 2026.

In the last 12 months (April 2026 compared to April 2025), the industrial output price index for domestic destinations increased by 1.0%, and the index excluding fuels decreased by 1.6%.

This month, fuel prices increased by 41.4%. In the last 12 months (April 2026 compared to April 2025), fuel prices increased by 23.3%.

The Mining and Quarrying Price Index for Domestic Destinations decreased by 1.9% in April 2026 compared to March 2026. In the last 12 months (April 2026 compared to April 2025), the index decreased by 8.7%.
