The officer approached the driver, drawing his pistol and flashlight and aiming them at the vehicle until the driver stopped. An initial inspection revealed that the driver, a 19-year-old resident of the southern Bedouin diaspora, was a new driver. He was brought in for questioning at the Be’er Sheva station, and was detained at the end of the investigation.
