The undercover Border Police unit in the South arrested four suspects on suspicion of smuggling weapons in the firing zones in the southern part of the country yesterday, in a joint operation by undercover Border Police fighters in the South and IDF soldiers from Division 80.

During the attempted arrest, the suspects tried to escape the scene, endangering the forces and nearly running over the fighters. In light of the immediate danger, the fighters fired precisely at the vehicle’s tires, stopped the vehicle, and apprehended the four suspects. The suspects, residents of the Negev, were arrested and transferred for further investigation by the General Security Service.
