Following the investigation, a severe indictment was filed against the suspect. On 26/04/10, intelligence forces from the Northern District and Border Police fighters operated in the village of Iksal to thwart criminal incidents and locate illegal weapons. During the operation, the forces heard sounds of gunfire from one of the streets and moved towards the source. A few seconds later, a detective team identified a suspect, wearing black clothes, fleeing the shooting area. The detectives initiated a foot pursuit, during which they fired a warning shot into the air, until they arrested the suspect (Iksal, 28). In a search conducted nearby, a handgun was seized, which was suspected of being used to carry out the shooting. A handgun magazine was found in the suspect’s jacket pocket. Teams that arrived at the scene located a shooting victim who received initial treatment and was later evacuated in moderate condition to the hospital. After an intensive investigation by officers of the Northern District, an indictment was filed in the Nazareth District Court by the Northern District Prosecution.
