Police officers from the Jaffa station arrested a suspect in an act of vandalism and damage at the St. Anthony’s Church in Jaffa. Yesterday morning, a report was received about an incident of vandalism and damage at the church.

Police officers from the Jaffa station and forensic identification personnel arrived at the scene, began searching for the suspect, and examined and collected evidence from the scene. Inside the church, the officers noticed several statues that had been knocked to the floor and broken into pieces. Broken crosses were also found on the chairs and on the floor. During the investigation, the officers managed to identify the suspect, a resident of Jaffa in his 20s, who was arrested a short time ago and taken for questioning.
