Following a covert investigation – Northern District Police officers arrested a doctor at her workplace in central Israel on suspicion of repeated threats against a media personality. In recent weeks, an investigation was opened regarding threats against a media personality from the north, by a suspect who contacted him from an unknown number and threatened his life on several occasions. The investigation included the use of technological means, and during its course, evidence was gathered against a resident of the north, aged 40, a doctor by profession, who works at a medical institution in central Israel. Shortly before, in accordance with the investigation’s findings and a court order, Northern District Police officers raided her workplace, carried out her arrest, and seized evidence related to the commission of the offenses, which were allegedly hidden at the location.
