Officers from the Beka’ot station in the Gilad region, along with a Jericho liaison officer, began search and location operations to find the family members, ensure their well-being, and verify their safety. As part of the operation, the family members left the Jericho area under police guidance and direction. Upon their exit from the city, they were detained and questioned under caution. We reiterate: The entry of Israeli citizens into Area A is prohibited by law and poses a real life-threatening danger, and additionally constitutes a criminal offense.
