Israeli AI and Biotech Firms Take Top Awards at Biomed Conference
Four Israeli health-tech startups, Starget Pharma, caVos Biotherapeutics, Protai, and BAIBYS, earned top honors at the annual Biomed Israel 2026 conference for.

The annual conference, held in Tel Aviv together with 8400 The Health Network, recognized Starget Pharma, caVos Biotherapeutics, Protai and BAIBYS for developing innovative life-science technologies.
Starget Pharma develops radioligand cancer therapies, while caVos Biotherapeutics uses evolutionary biology and artificial intelligence to identify treatments for age-related diseases. Protai focuses on AI-driven drug discovery targeting protein complexes linked to cancer, and BAIBYS created an AI-powered robotic system for sperm selection in in-vitro fertilization procedures.
Nearly 100 companies applied, with 12 finalists selected by judges from Israeli and international venture capital and pharmaceutical firms.
