Sderot Hosts International Mayors to Showcase Urban Innovation

International mayors visit Sderot for urban innovation showcase, highlighting cutting-edge solutions for crisis management and community resilience.

Jerusalem, 24 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Mayors from 13 countries, including the United States, Panama, and the Czech Republic, visited Sderot this week to witness firsthand the city’s cutting-edge innovation and resilience hub. The delegation toured startups and development teams working on advanced urban management systems, emergency response technologies, and digital tools for caregivers.

Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi highlighted the city’s experience-driven approach to resilience, while Hub CEO Eran Segal stressed the global value of sharing Sderot’s tools and knowledge to help other cities strengthen communities and manage crises.

The delegation arrived in Israel as part of the 34th Mayors’ Conference of the American Jewish Congress together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
