Jerusalem, 16 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Tourism is formulating a new priority map for focusing investments and enhancing the contribution of tourism.

As part of its ongoing work, the Ministry of Tourism invests hundreds of millions of shekels each year in a variety of projects. On the supply side, the ministry invests, among other things, in the establishment and upgrading of public tourism infrastructure and providing grants for the construction of new hotel rooms, and more.

On the demand side, the ministry invests a lot of money through support and procedures of the Marketing Administration to promote tourism to Israel.

The ministry is now embarking on a strategic move to update and refresh the ministry’s priority map. The move is being led by the Ministry of Tourism’s Strategy Administration, and is designed to direct the many investments more efficiently and accurately, while aligning with the 2030 strategic plan and current market trends.
