Jerusalem, 2 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — (Updated – 02:48 Jerusalem time, UTC/GMT +2)
A terror attack took place at a gathering for hostages in Gaza in Boulder, Colorado. Local police confirmed that it took place at the weekly ‘Boulder Run for Their Lives’ event, which brings together Jewish community members to run or walk in support of the hostage release.
The FBI chief said earlier that the agency is investigating a ‘targeted terror attack’.
The Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles confirmed this and added that people advocating for the release of hostages have been attacked with Molotov cocktails.

According to a police spokesperson in Boulder, multiple injuries have been reported. US media, citing the organisers, say that at least five people were injured, one of them critically.
The police also confirmed that they arrested a suspect, but would not confirm his identity. However, footage published on social media by an eyewitness shows a man shouting at people attending to the injured. The man can be seen in photos being arrested later on. According to eye witness accounts that attacker shouted “Free Palestine” as he threw the Motolov coctails towards the people that had gathered.
