Jerusalem, 28 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that units in its Southern Command, continue to fight against terrorist organizations across the Gaza Strip and have destroyed dozens of terror targets in recent days.

In the southern Gaza Strip, forces eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed several terrorist infrastructures.

At the same time, the 188th Armored Brigade’s combat team continues to operate in Khan Yunis with the aim of establishing operational control over the “Magen Oz” axis, which connects the eastern and western parts of the city. As part of the operation, the forces destroyed buildings from which Hamas terrorists operate in the area.

In the northern Gaza Strip, forces of the IDF’s 162nd Division are eliminating terrorists and destroying above-ground and underground terrorist infrastructure.

In the past 24 hours, infantry forces destroyed several underground routes used by Hamas terrorists in the Jabalia area.

In addition, 401st Armored Brigade forces identified three terrorists near the area where they were operating, and immediately after identification, they targeted an aircraft that eliminated the terrorists.
