Jerusalem, 26 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — On Wednesday the State of Israel commemorated the 52nd anniversary (according to the Hebrew calendar) of the passing of David Ben-Gurion, the man who was considered the father of the country and its first Prime Minister and Defense Minister.
“A man who saw and created a future in his spirit and left behind our State of Israel,” said Israel’s Government Press Office.
David Ben-Gurion died on December 1, 1973, at the age of 87.
