Jerusalem, 22 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Border Police thwarted an attempted infiltration into Israel by residents of the Palestinian Authority with no permits to enter the country and arrested 122 illegal residents in the Lachish area, west of Hebron.
On the night between this past Sunday and Monday, Border Police had an indication of suspicious infiltration through the “Seam Line” fence (also called the separation barrier) from the Hebron area towards the Lachish region.
The police rushed to the scene and began conducting extensive scans of the area, using drones and other technological means.
After a lengthy search operation, the 122 illegal residents who had infiltrated through the separation fence were arrested.
