10 More Syrian Druze Wounded in Sectarian Violence Receive Medical Care in Israel

Jerusalem, 6 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Ten more Syrian Druze citizens injured during ongoing sectarian violence were evacuated to Israel for medical treatment over the past two days, according to military officials.

The wounded were transported to Ziv Hospital in Safed, bringing the total number of Syrian Druze receiving medical care in Israeli hospitals to more than 25 within the past week.

Israeli Defense Forces have positioned troops in southern Syria with the stated mission of “preventing hostile forces from entering the area and Druze villages.” Military spokespersons emphasized that they continue to monitor developments while maintaining defensive readiness for various scenarios.
