Meanwhile, one of the rioters waved the flag near a police officer’s face and spat on him. The suspect tried to flee the scene and was arrested by officers for assaulting a police officer and was taken for questioning. The forces used crowd dispersal measures until the rioters were fully dispersed from the scene and public order was restored.
