Jerusalem, 28 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — In the second quarter of 2025, the number of job vacancies in Israel increased to an average of 143,200 jobs per month, compared to an average of 138,600 jobs per month in the first quarter of 2025. This is according to the data collected by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.
The supply-demand ratio (the ratio between those seeking work and the number of vacancies) remained unchanged from the previous quarter and was 1.9.
The supply-demand ratio among well-known artisans remained unchanged from the previous quarter and was 1.6.
The supply-demand ratio was 0.5 (meaning there were two vacancies for every job seeker) among other sales workers and among unskilled workers in mining, construction, manufacturing, and transportation.
The supply-demand ratio was 4 or higher (meaning there were 4 or more job seekers for every vacant position) among production managers and managers in the professional services sector and among general clerks and typists.
