Israel Intercepts Drone Smuggling M-16 Rifles from Egypt

Jerusalem, 5 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers overnight intercepted an aerial drone smuggling weapons from Egypt, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday morning.

Forces seized three M-16 rifles and cartridges.
