Resumption of Jerusalem Light Rail Operations in Emergency Mode

Under the directive of Minister Regev, the Ministry of Transportation, the National Public Transportation Authority, and the Jerusalem Master Plan team, Kfir Company has been instructed to operate the Jerusalem Light Rail starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 3, 2026) in emergency mode, in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines. This is intended to maintain functional continuity and provide transportation solutions for essential workers.

Within this framework, the Jerusalem Light Rail will operate between the hours of 05:15 AM and 10:00 PM.

It should be emphasized that the operation of the train is carried out in accordance with the current situation and Home Front Command guidelines. Should any changes occur, an updated announcement will be issued separately.
