Israeli Autotech to Teach Swiss Self-Driving Vehicles to See the Road
Tel Aviv's Innoviz Technologies partners with Switzerland's LOXO to equip self-driving delivery vehicles with advanced LiDAR sensing technology.
Jerusalem, 6 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — >>”>Tel Aviv-based Innoviz Technologies has signed a letter of intent with Switzerland’s LOXO to use its long-range sensing system in self-driving delivery vehicles.
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a laser-based technology that helps vehicles “see” by measuring distance and building a detailed 3D map of roads, objects and pedestrians.
LOXO is testing Innoviz’s InnovizTwo system for its Level 4 autonomous delivery platform and may choose the Israeli company as its long-term supplier if trials succeed.
The companies say the technology could improve safety and reliability for autonomous deliveries across Europe.
