Jerusalem, 26 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) confirmed that Sergeant Aviad Elchanan Volansky, 21 years old, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade was killed in combat in southern Lebanon.
In addition, two combat officers and two soldiers from the same unit were lightly wounded. The combatants were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital, and their families were notified.
However, the IDF did not provide any details on the combat.
