Jerusalem, 25 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Overnight, Israeli security forces worked to arrest wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activity in the Aqbat Jaber Camp, which is located near Jericho.

The arrests came in what the Israel Police described as a “focused operation” and with “precise intelligence guidance” from the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service), carried out by an undercover force of police together with the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).

The undercover force operated covertly and, in the dead of night, with “precise operational coordination,” simultaneously broke into two safe houses where the wanted persons were hiding and carried out their arrest.

However, no information was provided about those arrested, what they were planning, or even how many terrorists were captured.
