Israeli military thwarts drone weapons smuggling attempt, intercepting a drone carrying ten pistols that crossed into Israeli territory.

Jerusalem, 22 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that one of its surveillance units identified last night (Wednesday) a drone that crossed from the east into Israeli territory in an attempt to smuggle weapons.

After identification, IDF forces intercepted the drone, which was carrying ten pistols.
