Israeli Citizen Indicted for Spying for Iran

Israeli citizen indicted for spying for Iran after Lahav 433 and Shin Bet investigation revealed he transferred sensitive security info for money.

The investigation by the Lahav 433 National Fraud Unit and the Shin Bet revealed that for several months, the citizen was in contact with Iranian intelligence elements and was instructed by them to carry out various security missions, including transferring sensitive security information to which he was exposed in the course of his duties. As part of the investigation, it emerged that the citizen was aware that the contact was managed by Iranian elements and received sums of money in return. The investigation was accompanied from its inception by the Jerusalem District Prosecutor’s Office, and today an indictment was filed against him.
