Jerusalem, 11 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday confirmed killing Hamas sniper Ahmad Hasan on Monday, saying he was responsible for killing seven soldiers in Gaza and injuring others.

According to the IDF, Hasan led the sniper unit of Hamas’ Beit Hanoun Battalion and was planning further attacks on Israeli troops.
