Jerusalem, 8 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Over the weekend, Jerusalem Border Police neutralized a terrorist who threw a Molotov cocktail toward the security axis (special path used for patrols) on the “Seam Line” – the border line separating official Israeli territory from the areas of the Palestinian Authority – in the village of Abu Dis that borders Jerusalem. This was reported by the Border Police Spokesman’s Office.

On Friday night, during an anti-terror “ambush operation,” Border Police in the Abu Dis village identified a number of terrorists who threw the Molotov cocktails toward the security axis, along which Border Police vehicles routinely travel.

Border Police opened fire on the terrorists, a hit was detected and one terrorist was neutralized. The fighters approached the terrorist, provided him with initial medical treatment, and he is being taken for further medical treatment through the Red Cross.
