Jerusalem, 29 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with Togolese Foreign Minister Robert Dussey in Jerusalem on Thursday, thanking him for Togo’s friendship and its support for Israel following the October 7 attacks.

The two ministers discussed shared terrorist threats facing West Africa and the Middle East, and cooperation to counter them. Sa’ar warned that Iran must be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to further strengthen bilateral ties.
