Jerusalem, 25 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) once again refuted Hamas propaganda about lack of food in Gaza saying in a social media post, “Don’t fall for Hamas’ cheap propaganda.”

“Hamas is trying once again to recycle its ‘starvation’ campaign to generate international pressure and support, thereby justifying its refusal of President Trump’s plan,” it said while providing an update on the numbers based on real data.

According to COGAT:

600 trucks enter the Gaza Strip daily, around 35% of which are operated by the UN and international organizations; the rest by the private sector.

70% to 80% of the trucks contain food.

Over 1.6 million tons of food have entered Gaza since the beginning of the ceasefire.

“Hamas is not fighting for the future of Gaza,” added COGAT. “It is fighting for its own survival, its weapons, and the continuation of its rule, while exploiting the residents of Gaza for its campaign of lies.”
