Sergeant Idan Fox Killed, Six Soldiers Wounded, in Lebanon Combat

Sergeant Idan Fox, 19, from Petah Tikva, was killed in combat in southern Lebanon, with six other IDF soldiers wounded.

Jerusalem, 26 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed that the soldier who was killed in combat In Southern Lebanon was Sergeant Idan Fox, 19 years old, from Petah Tikva, a fighter in the 77th Sa’ar (Storm) of the Golan Battalion of the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade.

In the incident in which Sergeant Fox was killed, a combat officer and three combat soldiers were seriously injured, one soldier was moderately injured, and another lightly injured. They were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital and their families have been notified.

The IDF, however, has not revealed the circumstances of the fighting in which they were wounded and Fox was killed.
