Israeli Military Destroys Another Hezbollah Terror Tunnel, Massive Weapons Caches

The IDF has destroyed another Hezbollah terror tunnel and massive weapons caches in southern Lebanon, including three tons of explosives.

Jerusalem, 4 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that elements of its 226th (Res.) Paratrooper Brigade operating in southern Lebanon destroyed an underground route (tunnel) approximately 30 meters long, which it said was used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to advance attacks against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel.

The paratroopers were aided by the IDF’s Yahalom (Diamond) Combat Engineers Special Forces Unit.

In addition, weapons caches located near the route were destroyed, including a central warehouse containing approximately three tons of explosives, 43 IEDs, mines of various types, as well as anti-tank systems and Kornet missiles, a Russian portable anti-tank guided missile.

Additionally, in the past 24 hours, with the Air Force, Israeli Forces attacked terrorists and approximately 15 Hezbollah military infrastructures in Lebanon, including military structures, observation posts, and assembly points, which were used for terrorist activities against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel.
