Israeli Forces Eliminated More Than 20 Terrorists Just Before Lebanon Ceasefire Came Into Effect
The IDF reported eliminating over 20 terrorists in Lebanon during an operation in the village of Davin just before a ceasefire took effect.
Jerusalem, 22 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, before the ceasefire agreement came into effect in Lebanon, elements of its 769th “Hiram” Territorial Brigade – eastern section of the Israel Lebanon border – in cooperation with the Air Force, completed an operation in the village of Davin, approximately 12 kilometers deep inside Lebanon.
Within a few hours, More Than 70 targets were attacked and more than 20 terrorists were eliminated in hand-to-hand and aerial combat.
During the operation, forces raided a Hezbollah training compound in a village where terrorist activity and intelligence indications of attempted execution of terror plots against Israeli forces and citizens of the State of Israel were identified.
