IDF forces completed earlier today (Wednesday) an extensive operation to thwart terrorism and arrest terrorists, during which they operated in the last 24 hours in 12 villages simultaneously along the seam line in the Menashe Brigade.
As part of the operation, Egoz unit fighters and additional security forces, under the direction of the Shin Bet, arrested several terrorists identified with the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations. Additionally, the forces confiscated tens of thousands of shekels in terror funds and interrogated dozens of suspects in terrorist activity, including suspects involved in smuggling illegal residents into Israeli territory.
In a parallel operation in the village of Bartaa, Civil Administration forces demolished three illegal structures and confiscated dozens of stolen vehicles.
In further operations conducted throughout the night across Judea and Samaria, IDF forces arrested 23 wanted individuals. In the Benjamin Brigade, Kalashnikovs, pistols, magazines, ammunition, and additional weapon parts were confiscated. In the Ephraim Brigade, an M-4 rifle was confiscated, and in the Judea Brigade, tens of thousands of shekels in terror funds were confiscated.
