Home Front Command Clarification Regarding Advance Warning Times We clarify that the Home Front Command transmits an advance directive to mobile phones in the relevant areas as early as possible.

Home Front Command explains advance warning times for mobile directives, emphasizing prompt preparation and immediate shelter upon alert.

The preliminary directive is intended to allow citizens to prepare and reach the best protected space near them. Identification of barrages and fire is affected by a variety of operational factors, and therefore it is not always possible to provide a prolonged preparation time between the preliminary directive and the alert, and sometimes it is received relatively close to the alarm. It is important to clarify that there are situations where an alert will be received without a prior preliminary directive, depending on operational conditions. We emphasize that upon receiving the preliminary directive, one must improve their position for optimal protection. In case of receiving an alert, one must immediately enter a protected space and remain there until notification that the event has ended. This warning measure is in addition to the official warning measures of the Home Front Command: the siren system, the Home Front Command app, and the National Emergency Portal.
