Jerusalem, 16 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli television producer Dana Eden, 52, one of Israel’s most prolific television producers, died in Greece while abroad during production of the critically acclaimed series, Tehran, the Kan public broadcaster reported.
Eden was found unresponsive in a hotel in Athens after she failed to respond to messages, according to Hebrew media. Greek authorities ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death and began collecting security camera footage and testimony from hotel staff. Initial reports said there is no suspicion of foul play.
Tehran is a drama about a Mossad agent inside Iran. The filming in Greece was for the show’s fourth season.
