Three Arrested, Weapons and Drugs Seized, in Raid on Arab Village

Israeli police arrested three suspects and seized weapons, ammunition, and a large quantity of drugs in a raid on the Arab village of Kana near Nazareth.

Jerusalem, 21 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police reported that, In an operation involving undercover units from the tactical brigade of the Border Guard and officers from the Northern District in the Arab village of Kana, located near Nazareth, three suspects were arrested and weapons, various ammunition items, and a large quantity of drugs were seized.

The forces were dispatched to the structure where the criminals were located after the district received an indication regarding the ammunition held by them.

The three suspects were brought before the Magistrates’ Court in the Galilee-Nazareth, which extended their detention, and the investigation into the case continues.

This was another example of Israel’s ongoing “war” against violent crime and possession of illegal weapons on Arab communities.
