Police arrest 2 illegal residents, thwart car theft

Israel Police arrested two illegal residents in their 20s, thwarting a car theft and seizing stolen vehicles and burglary tools.

Subsequently, forces prepared to carry out an initiated arrest by blocking the Rantis crossing. Around 06:00, movement was identified towards the vehicle and it began moving towards the crossing. As the vehicle entered the road, a pursuit ensued, at the end of which the suspect driving the stolen vehicle was arrested. Simultaneously, another lead vehicle was identified moving on the road and began to flee the scene. After a short pursuit, the driver lost control of the vehicle in the Kula Forest area and was arrested. Both suspects, illegal residents in their 20s, were arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Ramla station. The vehicles were seized and transferred to a police impound lot. Additionally, burglary tools, communication devices, and a lead vehicle used by the suspects were seized.
