Tzvi Lipschitz arrested in Modi'in Illit for sex offense against minor; police seek additional victims.

This morning, the court acceded and permitted the publication of his name alongside the extension of his arrest for several days. In recent weeks, an investigation has been underway following a complaint filed at the Modi’in Illit station on suspicion of a serious sexual offense against a minor. Through investigative actions, together with child investigators from the ‘Beit Lin’ Protection Center for Children and Youth, it emerged that the suspect met the minor while she was on her way to a friend’s house. He lured her with a pretext that included offering sweets, and led her to the roof of a building in the city, where he carried out his intentions until he climaxed. Last night, the suspect (Jerusalem, 23) was arrested. During his interrogation, and after two professional Haredi investigators managed to remove the ‘shell’ of denial, significant progress was made, including leading the police to the scene of the incident and reconstructing it. This morning, the suspect was brought before the court, which ordered his arrest extended by six days and permitted the publication of the suspect’s name. Due to investigative needs and the fear that there are others who have fallen victim to his actions, whether through a pretext or an offer of sweets, the police are requesting that anyone with information about additional victims harmed by the suspect, Tzvi Dov Lipschitz, contact one of the police stations or the 100 hotline.
