Jerusalem Police Arrest Man in Young Woman’s Death Investigation

Jerusalem Police arrested a 27-year-old man after an 18-year-old woman was found dead in his apartment, possibly from drug use.

Investigation opened into the circumstances of a young woman’s death in Jerusalem – a man in whose apartment she was staying was arrested. Jerusalem District Police officers opened an investigation over the weekend following a report received on 3.4.26 about a young woman (18, Rehovot) who was found lifeless in an apartment in Jerusalem. Initial investigation indicates that the deceased arrived at the suspect’s apartment (27, Jerusalem), where it is suspected they consumed dangerous drugs together, and at some point, the man called medical teams after the deceased lost consciousness, and they were forced to pronounce her dead. Harel Police Station officers arrested the suspect for further investigation into the circumstances of the death, and the deceased’s body was transferred to the Forensic Institute.
