Driver in ramming attempt surrenders to police

A 58-year-old Palestinian resident surrendered to Israel Police after a ramming attempt; investigation suggests it may have been an accident.

Officers from the Etzion station joined IDF forces in the field and conducted searches. During the searches, several suspects whose vehicle matched the description provided were checked, but their involvement was ruled out. In the afternoon, the suspect driver arrived and surrendered himself at the Etzion station. The suspect, a 58-year-old Palestinian resident of Tko’a, was transferred for investigation, during which the suspicion that this was a traffic accident was strengthened. The investigation is ongoing.
