Border Police fighters and Central District police officers arrested a suspect driving a stolen vehicle in Tira last night, following a pursuit. This occurred during an operational activity by Border Police fighters from the Central District’s Settlements Branch in the Sharon region.

Border Police and Central District officers arrested a stolen vehicle driver in Tira after a pursuit, finding he lacked a license.

The fighters and officers identified the suspicious vehicle and initiated an operational pursuit, while continuously reporting and preparing for roadblocks in the area. During the chase, the suspect breached a police roadblock, drove over spike strips, and fled towards the city of Tayibe, where another roadblock was set up. Upon stopping the vehicle, the fighters arrested the suspect. An inspection revealed that the vehicle was stolen and that the suspected driver (Tayibe, 22) had never legally obtained a driver’s license. The suspect was arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Kfar Saba station.
