Record Number of Funds Collected by Israel’s Debt Collection Agency in 2025

Israel's Debt Collection Agency collected a record 3.65 billion Shekels in 2025, a 29% increase, with direct collections surging 32% to over 2.33 billion.

Jerusalem, 4 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Enforcement and Collection Authority said total collection increased “dramatically” in 2025, an average increase of 29% compared to the last four years. A total of 3.65 billion Shekels ($1.12 billion) was collected, compared to 2.85 billion Shekels ($880 million) in 2024.

For the first time since its establishment, the Authority collected over 2.33 billion Shekels ($720 million) in direct collection in the enforcement system, compared to 1.76 billion in 2024 – a 32% increase in direct collection.

In 2025, 1.74 million cases were opened at the Authority’s Fines Collection Center, of which 1.15 million were for traffic fines, of which 41% were for speeding and 10% for using a mobile phone.
