Jerusalem, 9 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli security forces foiled a team of weapons and drug smugglers along the Egyptian border, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday.

In a special operation involving the army, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and police, six Israeli smugglers were arrested on Monday following a chase. Twenty-one kilos of drugs and an aerial drone were seized.
