FM Sa’ar orders transfer of humanitarian aid to Druze in Suwayda
In light of the recent attacks against the Druze in Suwayda and the serious humanitarian situation there, and in accordance with the needs on the ground – Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar has ordered the urgent transfer of humanitarian aid to the Druze in Suwayda.
The aid package, worth 2 million NIS, will include, among other things, food packages, medical equipment, first aid kits and medicine.
The aid will be provided from the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The aid will be directed in a targeted manner to the Druze areas in the Suwayda district, which were directly affected by the violent attacks against the Druze.
This aid joins a previous aid package that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs transferred to the Druze in Syria last March.
