Armored Sergeant Yaniv Michalovitch Killed, Two Wounded, from Anti-Tank Missile Fire in Gaza

Jerusalem, 2 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that Sergeant Yaniv Michalovitch, from Rehovot, a combat soldier in the 7th Armored Brigade, was killed in combat on Wednesday while fighting in the northern Gaza Strip, when an anti-tank missile struck his tank.

The tank commander and another armored fighter were seriously wounded in the attack.
