Foreign Worker Killed During Missile Attack on Central Israel
An Iranian missile attack on central Israel killed a foreign laborer in Yehud and injured two others, with shrapnel also striking nearby Or Yehuda.
Jerusalem, 9 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — One person was killed and two other people were seriously injured today during an Iranian Missile barrage towards central Israel.
Killed in the attack was a foreign laborer working at a construction site in Yehud where another worker was injured. The two were not in a protected area.
“This is a difficult scene, the two injured were lying unconscious and suffering from severe shrapnel injuries to their bodies,” said MDA paramedic Liz Goral: “After performing CPR, we were forced to declare the death of a man about 40 years old and evacuated the second injured person to the hospital in an intensive care unit.”
Another person in the nearby town of Or Yehuda was also seriously injured by shrapnel.
