Jerusalem, 12 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF rejected Palestinian reports according to which civilians have been injured today by its gunfire near an aid distribution facility in Rafah.
“From our investigation, there are no known casualties. The IDF continues to work to enable humanitarian aid distribution in the Gaza Strip and allow access to distribution sites through organized and secured routes. The IDF emphasizes caution regarding unverified reports. The reports continue to be investigated,” according to the statement.
Suspects, the statement goes on to say, were identified approaching IDF in the area hundreds of meters from the distribution site. The forces fired warning shots, but no casualties from this shooting incident are known, the IDF adds.
