Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers have demolished approximately 70 terror infrastructure sites in Hezbollah’s southern Lebanese stronghold of Bint Jbeil, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Thursday.
According to the IDF, Israeli commandos conducted a targeted raid on a Hezbollah compound in a civilian area, finding doezens of weapons, including RPGs, Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition, grenades, an anti-aircraft missile, surveillance equipment, and combat equipment.
In an additional operation, soldiers killed dozens of terrorists active in the area.
The IDF also released footage of the Hezbollah sites being simultaneously demolished by combat engineers.
Bint Jbeil is about two kilometers from the border and overlooks several Israeli communities. On Sunday, Israeli Forces raided a hospital in Bint Jbeil used by Hezbollah to store and transfer weapons, conduct surveillance, and even fire on soldiers.
