More Than 1.5 Million Tons of Food Enter Gaza Since Start of Iran Ceasefire
Since the April 8 Iran ceasefire, Gaza has received over 1.5 million tons of food, 650,000+ tents, and significant hygiene and medical supplies.
Jerusalem, 19 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported the numbers on aid deliveries to Gaza since the Iran ceasefire began on April 8.
COGAT reported that, since the start of the ceasefire, 600 trucks per day on average entered Gaza, which carried more than 1.5 million tons of food, 650,000+ tents and tarpaulins, more than 70,000 tons of hygiene supplies and more than 12,500 tons of medical equipment.
“There is no limit to the amount of aid that can enter Gaza,” said COGAT adding that it “remains committed to facilitating these vital goods for the civilian population.”
