Security Forces Rush to Aid Palestinians Attacked by Israelis
Israeli security forces intervened in an attack on Palestinians in Khirbet Abu Falah, resulting in three Palestinian fatalities and sparking an investigation.
Jerusalem, 8 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During the night, Israeli Security Forces entered the area of the village of Khirbet Abu Falah, located near Ramallah, following a report of several Israeli civilians who attacked Palestinians in the village’s residential area.
Upon arriving at the scene, security forces acted to disperse the individuals involved using riot dispersal means.
Subsequently, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said, it was reported that two Palestinians were killed as a result of gunfire. Additionally, it was reported that another Palestinian was killed by suffocation.
The incident was immediately investigated in the field by the commander of Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, together with representatives from the Judea and Samaria District and the Border Guard. Following the incident, a criminal investigation was opened by the authorities.
The IDF said it “strongly condemns violence of any kind.”
In recent days, several incidents have occurred in which Palestinians and Israeli civilians were harmed. The IDF said it views these incidents with “great severity.”
